Kanayo, Bob Manuel,  Nick Rhys Screenplay: Tunde Babalola Director: Kunle Afolayan October 1 is one movie that was highly anticipated by myself and am sure a whole lot of people. I actually thought the movie was going to be basically about how Nigeria gained her Independence, but the writer proved me wrong. Ouch! I cannot wait to get into the review part *rubbing palms* it’s going to be a joy ride, for the car is set in motion. The movie is going to be thorn into parts for you to know it’s a great, good or… Bad movie. Worth the hype or not! Review: A girl runs through a dark forest scared of something unknown… well I guess that was how … wrote the teaser of October 1, what can I say, but I loved it! I loved the suspense right from the very start of the movie. So at the very start of the movie, a red moon in a dark night, screams are hea...

The Good Wife (2015)

Cast: Fedrick  Leonard, Oma Nnadi, Yvonne Jegede, Ayo desanya, Daniel Lloyd

Screenplay: Chineye Love Eze

Synopsis: ‘The Good Wife’ is an emotional movie that tells the story of a devoted wife who goes through emotional, physical and mental abuse by her husband.

The virtuous woman... What is the role of a woman in a marriage? Is she the man's equal, hand bang *permit me to be direct* or his helper?

The movie 🎬 on the review board today is titled "The Good wife". It' is a Nollywood movie Produced by Chinneye Love Eze.

Review:
The movie takes us through the aftermath of courting and the reality of marriage... I must say, "A perfect example of, not all that glitters is gold". So for all who aren’t married yet you should see this movie.

The beginning was low, just there, a bit flat... But it picked up just in time to cover up the lapse in the setup. There was a problem with the continuity but well-managed that it was almost impossible to notice.

Yvonne Jegede, played the role of Bola perfectly well I must say, entertaining her audience from the first scene she appeared till the last. The highest point for me was every of Bola's scenes. Way to go Yvonne!

It is a good story, but the plot wasn't well put together, there were a few hiccups in the Storyline and not enough content, it felt like there were gaps to be filled… some scenes felt like they were just added to make the movie longer, and I didn’t quite understand why a woman that was married for 10 years to a man she felt was “Mr perfect” at first, would leave her husband because of the heart break, then start seeing another man after 2 weeks?? I think, she should have shown reluctance towards a nice man, probably perceived him as a wolf in sheep’s clothing… taking into consideration her past experience. Good lightening, clear pictures, and the casts were perfect for each role.

After seeing this movie i think marriage should be considered very carefully before jumping into one.

The movie is therefore rated a 5 out of 10!
