Kanayo, Bob Manuel,  Nick Rhys Screenplay: Tunde Babalola Director: Kunle Afolayan October 1 is one movie that was highly anticipated by myself and am sure a whole lot of people. I actually thought the movie was going to be basically about how Nigeria gained her Independence, but the writer proved me wrong. Ouch! I cannot wait to get into the review part *rubbing palms* it’s going to be a joy ride, for the car is set in motion. The movie is going to be thorn into parts for you to know it’s a great, good or… Bad movie. Worth the hype or not! Review: A girl runs through a dark forest scared of something unknown… well I guess that was how … wrote the teaser of October 1, what can I say, but I loved it! I loved the suspense right from the very start of the movie. So at the very start of the movie, a red moon in a dark night, screams are hea...

Featured: Alakada Reloaded (2017) Movie Review

Cast: Toyin Abraham, Ali Baba, Odunlade Adekola, Kehinde Bankole, Lilian Esoro, Woli  Arole, Nedu OAP, Helen Paul

Story: A village girl is picked to be on a reality show and fakes her life all the way to the reality show house... until an old classmate of hers joins the cast of characters.

Review: "I used to have cancer before, they have remove and put it back, remove and put it back."
"Is your father a senator? No. A minister? No. My father used to type Nigeria's budget. Is your father a typist?"
"When i was in Newyork I used to talk like this oh but now my tongue have change..."

"Men have prostate cancer because they can prostate a lot..." Unbelievable lies right? some dialogues from the movie that would shock and crack you up! *Hands in the air for the "Queen of lies".

Toyin Aimakun should be applauded for her great interpretation and delivery of the character. Weldon Toyin!

Good cinematography, but, there was no actual story, and the plot wasn't clear. It also didn't look or sound scripted at some point, it looked and sounded more improvised.

If it was supposed to be a reality show in which a group of people stayed in a house how did people leave and come into the house, that wasn't clear. There was no real story, and even if it is a comedy movie it should be believable. There was no real message. But it was funny and I also found out  the reason why men have prostate cancer, as stated above. You should go see this movie if you want to find the details... LOL
