Kanayo, Bob Manuel,  Nick Rhys Screenplay: Tunde Babalola Director: Kunle Afolayan October 1 is one movie that was highly anticipated by myself and am sure a whole lot of people. I actually thought the movie was going to be basically about how Nigeria gained her Independence, but the writer proved me wrong. Ouch! I cannot wait to get into the review part *rubbing palms* it’s going to be a joy ride, for the car is set in motion. The movie is going to be thorn into parts for you to know it’s a great, good or… Bad movie. Worth the hype or not! Review: A girl runs through a dark forest scared of something unknown… well I guess that was how … wrote the teaser of October 1, what can I say, but I loved it! I loved the suspense right from the very start of the movie. So at the very start of the movie, a red moon in a dark night, screams are hea...

Live By Night!

Cast: Ben Afflek, Elle Fanning, Brendan Gleeson, Chris Messina, Sienna Miller, Zoe Saldana, Chris Cooper Director: Ben Afflek Synopsis: An adaptation of Dennis Lehane’s sprawling crime novel centering on the prodigal son of a prominent police chief, and his gradual descent into a criminal underworld. ‘Live by Night’ is a movie based on the story of a rogue soldier. Written by Ben Afflek and produced by Leonardo Dicaprio. Review: Thinking about a good movie to see this weekend? ‘Live by Night’ is the perfect movie for you. My favorite lines from the movie are ‘Just because I breathe corrupt air and meddle in the affairs of corrupt men doesn’t mean am corruptible’. And, ‘you can actually live unless there’s something for which you’d die’. Great lines! Perfect transition between times and lovely pictures. Live by Night is a very good movie and it deserves all the applause. It was suspense filled. I had a swell time at the cinema.
